Cindy Sheehan Will Be Saturday Guest on Hamilton College Radio Station
MSNBC’s Tucker Carlson and Attorney General Candidates Scheduled

Clinton, N.Y. – Hamilton first-year student Eric Kuhn will interview peace activist Cindy Sheehan on the college’s radio station WHCL 88.7 FM on Saturday, February 25 at 2 p.m. The show can also be heard at www.whcl.org.  Kuhn is soliciting questions from his audience for Sheehan. Because the show does not currently have call-in capabilities, Kuhn asks that all questions be sent to him at .

Cindy Sheehan became a prominent American anti-Iraq War activist after her son died while serving in the Army in Iraq. She attracted international attention in August 2005 for her extended demonstration at a peace camp outside President George W. Bush's Prairie Chapel Ranch near Crawford, Texas, during his five-week vacation retreat there. Sheehan demanded a meeting with the President and an explanation of the "noble cause" for which her son died.  She created a peace camp called Camp Casey by pitching a tent by the side of the road and announced her intention to stay, day and night, for the full five weeks, or until a meeting was granted.  She is sometimes referred to by the media as the "Peace Mom" and has recently discussed the possibility of running for a seat in the U.S. Senate.

Immediately following her interview with Kuhn, Sheehan will appear live on Fox News. This is a special show for Kuhn. His show usually airs weekly from 3 – 4 p.m. on Thursdays. Additional guests on Kuhn’s radio show this semester include:

·        the two Democratic candidates for New York Attorney General, Sean Patrick Maloney and Mark Green on Thursday, Feb 23

·         Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist Matt Davis and Mark Leyner author: Why Do Men Have Nipples? Hundreds of Questions You'd Only Ask a Doctor After Your Third Martini on Thursday, March 2

·        Gary Berntsen, Author of “Jawbreaker: The Attack on Bin Laden and Al Qaeda: A Personal Account by the CIA's Key Field Commander,” on Thursday, March 9

·        Tucker Carlson, host of MSNBC’s "The Situation" on Thursday, March 30, and
